 superb quality and accurate time, This review is from: CLOCK,13-3/4",QUARTZ,CNTRCT (Office Product) I am very pleased with my Chicago Lighthouse Contract wall clock. It is made of quality, well assembled plastic with no seen flaws; is lightweight and VERY big when hanging on the wall. It is made in the USA and this is sure nice to see these days! After running it for a few hours, I noticed that the small hour hand did not line up on the hour exactly. For example at 8, the small hand would be between the 7 and 8. I carefully depressed the clips that are part of the clear face and that hold it in position (easy to do but be careful not to scratch!) and manually adjusted both hands to line up at 12 o'clock and then used the adjusting dial on the back of the quartz unit to advance to the correct time. It keeps accurate time and the hands are where they are supposed to be. It seems like every clock of this type I've ever encountered needs the same initial manual hand positioning so I can't really fault this unit and, like I... Read more |
